January is National Glaucoma Awareness Month
In the United States it is reported that at least 2.7 million people over the age of 40 have glaucoma which is one of the leading causes of blindness. The American Optometric Association is urging people of all ages to get an eye exam for early detection and to help reduce the risk of developing glaucoma.

May is Healthy Vision Month
Millions of people living in the United States have undetected vision problems, eye diseases, and conditions.
