LINOLN COUNTY VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT SALE
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and the Lincoln County Road Department will be accepting bids for surplus vehicles and equipment. All vehicles and equipment will be displayed either at the Sheriff’s Office, 225 Justice Way, Pioche, NV or at the Road Department, 1300 South Front Street, Caliente, NV. Screening is available Monday thru Thursday between 8:00am and 3:00pm, beginning February 12th, 2018.
All bids must be submitted to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, PO Box 570, Pioche Nevada, 89043 by February 27th, 2018, no later than 12:00 pm. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope and marked, “Lincoln County Sheriff’s Sale 2018 ” along with the Lot number and your contact information. Bids will be opened shortly after the closing. The highest bid will be notified and will be required to pay for the vehicle and/or equipment in full and have it removed by March 8th, 2018.

National Megan's Law Helpline and Sex Offender Registration Tips Program - Parents for Megan's Law (PFML) is a not for profit organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of sexual abuse and provision of services to all victims of violent crime.
Family Watchdog - This web site provides a way to search for sex offenders that may be located in your area. Searches can be done by location (such as your address) or by name.
SexualOffenders.com - This is a web site that contains links to state sexual offenders databases, where that information is available on-line. It is searchable, so you can enter a name, location, etc., and search databases by state or county to find out of the person is listed. There are also news articles and safety tips on this web site.
The Nevada VINE system is a service through which victims of crime can use the telephone or internet to search for information regarding the custody status of their offender and to register to receive telephone and e-mail notification when the offender's custody status changes. The VINE toll-free number for the Nevada VINE system is (888)268-8463. This service is provided to assist Victims of Crime who have a right to know about their offender's custody status.
Victim/Witness Services - Victim/Witness Services (VWS) is a system advocacy program for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and District Attorney's Office. This program serves three counties ( Lincoln, Eureka and White Pine) and two Shoshone Indian Reservations (Duckwater and Ely).
